Agreement
By creating an account on secondchancelove.ca, you agree to these terms, our privacy policy and our community guidelines. Second Chance Love is operated by Second Chance Love Limited, Edmonton, Alberta.
Eligibility
You must be at least 40 years old, single or separated, legally able to enter into a contract, and not prohibited from using the service. You may have only one account.
Your account
Give accurate information and use photos of yourself. Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Conduct
You agree to follow our community guidelines. You must not ask other members for money, harass anyone, post explicit content, impersonate someone, or use the service for commercial purposes.
Moderation
We may review reports and flagged content, and warn, suspend or remove any account that breaks these terms, with or without notice.
Paid memberships
Gold and Platinum are monthly subscriptions billed through Stripe in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes. They renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account; your benefits continue until the end of the paid period. Payments already made are not refundable, except where required by law.
Your safety
We verify identities and screen messages, but we cannot guarantee the conduct of any member. Take care when meeting in person, and never send money to someone you haven’t met.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Second Chance Love Limited is not liable for indirect damages or for the actions of members, on or off the platform.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will notify members of important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and of Canada.
